I've never left a review before... And I'd like to start off by saying that I LOVE the look of all of her shoes and boots. They're so unique and creative. I have yet to find many other brands on the market with such a vast groovy selection of 60s/70s footwear to choose from, especially sold at reasonable prices!
With that being said, when online shopping I rely heavily on using centimeters to get the most accurate fit due to having rather small feet. So using my foot's CM measurement and the size chart provided on the website, I ordered a size 6. However, when the shoes came in they were at least a size or more too big... I couldn't even walk in them.
The seller was very quick to respond to my email on making me a pair in a size 5 instead, explaining that the style ran on the bigger side. I was very grateful and mentioned that I would keep that information in mind going forward, because there were several other shoes/boots that I was eyeing. In her response, Lynsey mentioned that "they basically all run big aside from the lace up style boots and the suede floral heels." Which is good to know... But just how big are we talking? How am I supposed to know without an accurate chart?
The new pair does fit better, but honestly, still a little loose. Definitely not the traditional size 5 that you find across other shoes stores. I'm still unsure what my size would be for her footwear. Unfortunately, it took nearly 2 months to have those shoes remade and delivered... With no other communication from her until I emailed a 2nd time about it after the 2nd month. So I've just made the best of them. It was a bit of a frustrating process, to be honest. By the time they came in, the occasion I wanted to wear them for had passed.
I just wonder--- what is the point of having a size chart if it's not even accurate? If you claim that several different styles will run bigger than others... Then the size chart you're using is not universal to all your products. Respectfully, you're setting your buyer up for failure.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who has struggled with sizing... However, it makes me very hesitant to buy from her again because I'm basically playing the guessing game. Which is unfortunate, because there are many I'd like to eventually purchase. :(
Please please please provide an accurate size chart for each style of shoe/boot so your customers can fit into them and we can rock them!
