Authentic 60’s Makeup

Sixties makeup is timeless because it combines minimalist style with striking eye makeup. What stands out most is the bold eyeliner applied to the crease/socket area and thick bottom lashes.

Lipstick and blush were kept more neutral to focus on the eyes. Eyeshadow color pallets were mostly brown, tan, and cream; however, light blue and green were also popular.

By the mid sixties mod fashion and makeup was in full swing. This makeup style was popularized by British models like Twiggy & Jean Shrimpton.

Thank you for the step by step guides! Especially the guide for the cut crease! I really want to make it look as natural as possible.
